New people and new ideas
Written by Slawomir Grzonkowski

Adam Westerski, who has joined the HLI developers team at the beginning of March, is responsible for working on a sub-project that provides a prototype implementation of Semantic Overlay Network (SON).
Currently, we have first results of his work: a complete design and a implementation which is in progress. The simulation results are promising, so I hope it will allow to significantly accelerate the broadcasting among large P2P networks.

Additionally, I would like to thanks for Brahmananda Sapkota (please visit his homepage to get more information) for his support with a SON algorithm.

Last week has been very productive for the D-FOAF group. They have successfully deployed HyperCuP library in the FOAFRealm/D-FOAF project. The broadcast queries work promising.

Please note, that some documentation has been published recently as well.
